Companies interested in expanding to regional areas cannot visit the site due to scheduling conflicts.
They want to hear from local government officials before making a site visit.
To create opportunities for companies interested in regional expansion but unable to visit due to scheduling conflicts, we held a promotional event in Tokyo together with local government representatives and regional businesses.
The event provided a chance for prospective companies to meet directly with government officials and experience Amakusa’s charm. Activities included serving dishes and drinks made from local specialties, product sales, screening of promotional videos, one-on-one meetings, and talk shows.
More than 20 companies, mainly from Tokyo, participated.
Four companies later visited Amakusa for inspections and began considering expansion.
