[Overview]

On August 23, 2024, the “Reskilling Seminar: Human Resource Development Strategies for Achieving Sustainable Growth,” hosted by Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, was held at Cross Garden Kaga.

In September 2022, Kaga City made a “Reskilling Declaration” and has since taken the lead nationwide in promoting reskilling among local businesses, including encouraging the use of Udemy, a video learning platform provided by Benesse Corporation.

The keynote speech at this reskilling seminar was delivered by Mr. Muneaki Goto, Representative Director of the Japan Reskilling Initiative. Following that, our Senior Manager, Takeshi Fujii, gave a lecture introducing practical points for promoting reskilling and DX, based on real-world examples.

Business owners and employees from companies within Kaga City participated in the seminar. The event included discussions among participants on the purpose of DX, and the Q&A session featured specific questions such as how to address issues occurring within their companies. Many participants expressed that they gained a better understanding of how to proceed with reskilling.

Our company will continue to support the advancement of reskilling and DX for businesses and local governments through seminars, training sessions, and consulting.
