[Amakusa Inbound Business Fair – Held on Saturday, January 18th] – Growth Strategies in Rural Areas Shared by Entering Companies
Press Release■ Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture
We provided promotional support for attracting satellite offices to Amakusa City.
From discovering the need for regional expansion to building networks with local industries, we facilitated collaboration with companies entering the area and supported their establishment in the region.
Mirai Inc. is working with local governments nationwide to create employment in rural areas and combat population decline through digital human resource development and corporate attraction efforts.
As a role model for these efforts, we have established “Amastafall” in Amakusa City, using telework to create an employment hub. By outsourcing work from domestic and international companies and public organizations, we continue efforts to revitalize rural areas, starting from the far reaches of Japan.
On January 18th, 2025, as part of Amakusa City’s corporate attraction initiative, the “Amakusa Entry Business Fair” will be held at the Amakusa City Complex Facility, “Kokorasu.”
Amakusa City, located at the westernmost tip of Kumamoto Prefecture, is home to 29 companies that have expanded into the area, primarily IT companies, despite being a remote island.
At this event, 14 participating companies will give presentations on their journey to enter Amakusa, key factors in their decision, business objectives, and the types of companies and talent they wish to connect with. In addition, booths will be set up where participants can directly interact with the companies while experiencing their products and technologies.
By widely publicizing the thoughts and efforts of the businesses that have entered Amakusa, we hope to raise awareness of the city’s appeal and promote “new industries and job creation” through collaboration with local companies. Ultimately, we aim to create a sustainable model for regional revitalization through the fostering of civic pride in the community.
