At the recently held meeting, we reported the analysis results to relevant stakeholders, including the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Superintendent of Education of Yabuki Town.
As a secondary effect, we observed that children wearing the Vital Watches began to voluntarily increase their level of physical activity. This confirmed the effectiveness of the watches as a motivational tool for encouraging exercise.

■ Overview of the Demonstration Project
This project is being conducted in Yabuki Town, a community known for its enthusiasm for sports and as the hometown of former professional baseball player Kiyoshi Nakahata and Olympic athlete Asami Chiba. It is a new initiative combining sports and digital technologies to promote public health and regional revitalization.
With the cooperation of Yabuki Town, the Yabuki Town Board of Education, and Mikami Elementary School, our company provided exercise programs in which Vital Watches were used during both regular physical education classes and our sessions to collect vital data such as students’ heart rates during activity.
These data were analyzed using machine learning.
Prior to the implementation, parental consent was obtained through the elementary school.
All data collected during the project were pseudonymized to ensure individuals could not be identified. Data were managed with strict security measures and were not used for any purposes outside the scope of this project.
