Mirai Inc. and Hiroshima Prefectural Kake High School (Akiota Town, Yamagata District, Hiroshima Prefecture; Principal: Kazunari Futagawa, hereinafter “Kake High School”) have signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with the attendance of Akiota Town (Mayor: Hiroaki Hashimoto, hereinafter “Akiota Town”), aiming to collaborate and cooperate in activities that contribute to the development of the local community and human resource development.

【Background】
Since the 2019 academic year (Heisei 31), Mirai has supported school management as a coordinator, especially fostering entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurship), nurturing local human resources, and supporting activities contributing to the revitalization of Akiota Town, where Kake High School is located.
This mutual cooperation between a public high school and a private company has entered its fourth year this fiscal year, steadily producing results such as an increase in applicants, improved university advancement rates, and an increase in proposals and recruitments related to Akiota Town.
Based on the shared understanding that continuing this initiative will positively influence the development of the school and region, Kake High School and Mirai have decided to sign a comprehensive partnership agreement with Akiota Town as witness.

【Scope of Collaboration】
(1) Planning, promotion, establishment, and continuation of distinctive learning at Kake High School
(2) Promotion of community and town development in cooperation with Kake High School students and teachers
(3) Support for projects conducted by Kake High School (introducing collaborators, developing sales channels, fundraising, etc.)
(4) Support for students’ daily life at Kake High School
(5) Employment support after graduation for Kake High School students (such as hiring decisions at Mirai)
(6) Work style reforms for Kake High School teachers
(7) Other matters deemed necessary for mutual collaboration and cooperation

Furthermore, to conduct the activities described in the agreement, Mirai will open a satellite office within Kake High School. This is an extremely rare case nationwide.

Through these activities, Mirai aims to develop projects contributing to the growth of Kake High School and Akiota Town, while advancing the construction of a problem-solving model for high schools located in mountainous and rural areas across Japan.
