Selected for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Demonstration Project
Press ReleaseThis demonstration project aims to promote the spread of telework and create new work styles. In particular, it supports people facing employment hurdles such as childcare and nursing care workers, foreigners, the elderly, and persons with disabilities by collaborating with specialized organizations in each field, including Harmony Management Consortium, Kumamoto International Exchange Promotion Foundation, Kumamoto Refreshing Longevity Foundation, Home-based Work Support Organization, and Kumamoto City. Through this meticulous support system, the project seeks to build a diverse regional city where everyone can thrive.
As the main consortium member of this demonstration project, Mirai Inc. will promote the following initiatives in Kumamoto City.
① Realization of Sector-Specific Supporter Accompaniment
Supporters with expertise in specialized fields will provide appropriate advice and assistance to workers who wish to telework. This aims to optimize the telework environment and improve workers’ productivity and satisfaction.
② Creation of Local Employment
By enabling “Ideal jobs and ideal working styles within Kumamoto City,” this initiative aims to curb population outflow and promote inward migration, supporting regional economic revitalization through collaboration between the community and teleworkers.
③ Development of a Digital Platform
A digital platform will be built to facilitate information sharing among teleworkers, supporters, and the community. Knowledge and experience sharing will be supported through online seminars and networking events.
④ Addressing Labor Shortages in Local Companies
To help companies in the city struggling with labor shortages, seminars and awareness activities promoting outsourcing options will be conducted, along with operational support utilizing telework.
In connection with this, the secretariat “Kumamoto Farol” opened in September 2023 in Shimodori, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City. On Thursday, September 7, a “Telework Introduction Seminar” will be held as an opportunity to learn key points for telework success, how to start teleworking, and hear real experiences from senior teleworkers.
On Tuesday, September 19, an “Outsourcing Utilization Seminar” for Kumamoto City companies will be held, introducing examples of efficient operations that can help solve labor shortages, along with consultations tailored to each company’s issues.
Mirai Inc. is committed to exploring new possibilities for solving regional challenges through telework in this demonstration project, contributing to improving the quality of life for workers, promoting regional development, and taking on the challenge to realize a sustainable regional society.
