Since 2014, Hiroshima Prefecture has been promoting the “Hiroshima version of the ‘Learning Transformation’ Action Plan,” aiming to cultivate individuals who can take pride in what they learned in Hiroshima, confidently talk about Hiroshima and Japan, and create new value (innovation) through collaboration with people around the world, based on a high level of ambition. Our company has been supporting this project by acting as the designer of the ICT environment for a “boarding junior and senior high school to nurture global leaders,” from the planning phase to the implementation phase, and continues to provide ongoing support through ICT environments.

[Challenges]

・Formulating the concept for a junior and senior high school aligned with the Learning Transformation Action Plan.
・Organizing tasks and responses for achieving the concept and coordinating with various stakeholders.
・Establishing an environment that considers not only the ICT education environment but also the students’ living environment.

[Support Provided]

To realize the global school model attracting attention as a role model for next-generation education, we designed a flexible and adaptable ICT environment considering both teachers’ working conditions and students’ learning environments.
Additionally, we provided support by introducing simulated environments related to student care (such as dormitory security and information literacy) and monitoring potential physical and mental changes caused by cashless systems or ICT usage. We also implemented the introduction of VR/AI technologies for the near future. Ongoing support for the ICT environment is being provided to ensure its continuous operation.
