In order to cultivate regional entrepreneurs who will lead the future, we support the resolution of local issues and the startup process through active learning and project-based learning at the school. The ultimate goal is to increase regional entrepreneurs, circulate people, goods, and money in a healthy manner within the region, and establish a virtuous cycle that enables self-sustaining and sustainable regional management.

【Challenges】

① Young people leave their hometowns upon advancing to higher education ② A shortage of workers and a decline in consumption due to the decrease in the young population ①↔② creates a vicious cycle

【Support Provided】

From 2019, over six years, we are supporting human resource development, with a focus on establishing three companies by student entrepreneurs. The support includes the following:

・ Activity 1: Promotion of the “Comprehensive Inquiry Time” curriculum for FY 2021
・ Activity 2: Implementation of the “Basic Design Thinking Course”
・ Activity 3: Implementation of the “UX Design Course”
・ Activity 4: Study session on establishing a corporation by Kake High School
・ Activity 5: Support for entering various contests
・ Activity 6: Support for manufacturing cooperation requests for products developed by high school students
・ Activity 7: Visualization of non-cognitive abilities using board games
・ Activity 8: Hosting and implementing internships
・ Activity 9: Promotional support projects for local businesses
・ Activity 10: Participation in “Akioota Marche”
